Chris Feist
Chris Feist has been a
marching percussionist with the Reading Buccaneers and the Crossmen.
After his marching days, he continued with the Crossmen, serving as percussion
caption head. In addition he has served in various roles including
arranger, caption head and staff coordinator for various bands, as well as
North Penn high school. From 1983 to 1988 he served as percussion caption
head for the Conrad Weiser High School Marching Band,
and from 1994 to 1999 served the Governor Mifflin High School Marching Band in
a variety of roles, including percussion arranger, caption head and staff
coordinator.
Chris
returned to the Buccaneers in 2001 as the battery coordinator and snare
instructor, a position he holds to this day. He was inducted into the Buccaneer
Hall of Fame, class of 2009. In addition, Chris has been a percussion judge for
the indoor and outdoor programs of Cavalcade of Bands, Mid-Atlantic Percussion
Society, and USSBA.
